Product Description
Chain Coupling is a technique utilized in normalizing flows, a kind of generative model, to enhance the flexibility of the model. In this type coupling, the inputs to the model are separated into two sets, and each set is transformed separately by means of a sequence of invertible functions. The output of the first transformation is thereafter concatenated with the second set of inputs, while the second set is transformed utilizing a second sequence of invertible functions. This process can be repeated for increasing the complexity of the model. Chain Coupling allows for efficient computation and is functional in high-dimensional input spaces where other techniques, like affine coupling, may be less effective.
